From Pain to Performance - Gallery One of Six

A large number of our members attended this highly successful conference which focused on problems of the shoulder. The 350 plus members of the audience were treated to some outstanding lectures from Dr Tom Loughran, Bob Izzo, Alison Middleditch, and Julia Church. Dr Tom Loughran is an Orthopaedic specialist at the Medical Centre at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He is also a Medical Director of the Sports Medicine Centre at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Bob Izzo is a Senior Physical Therapist at the Sports Medicine Centre at Virginia Commonwealth University. He has 24 years of clinical experience and specializes in upper limb musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Alison Middleditch is a chartered Physiotherapist and Practice Principal of the Surrey Physiotherapy Clinic where she specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Alison also held a 5 year research post at the Bioengineering Department at University College, London. Julia Church is a chartered physiotherapist at Kinesis Physiotherapy. She also works for the NEC Harlequins Rugby Club and also with the England Junior National squads.
